Leandry Santiago, whom we affectionately called Lean, passed away in a tragic accident at the age of 17.

Lean was a young man full of life, tenderness, and a special love for children. He always hugged them, played with them, and found joy in seeing them smile.

This non-profit organization is a tribute to his memory and a commitment to keeping his light alive in every child in need who receives help.

First, we identify an area of need. For example, many children lack sufficient resources to purchase school supplies, such as notebooks, pencils, backpacks, etc.

Once identified, we contact the individuals who have previously expressed interest in helping, explaining the current need and our solution plan, so they can support us with either material or financial support.

Once the fundraising is complete, these school supplies will be purchased and delivered in complete kits to the children immediately, since classes begin at the end of August. If the goal is not met or exceeded, the purchase of these supplies will be applied to the amount collected.

¿What percentage of the donations go directly to the needy children?

• 100% of the donations go to the children. The costs of administering this organization, including delivery of the goods collected, are covered by us personally.

Can I bring useful articles for children to your collection center at any time during the year?

• Since we work on specific projects at specific times during the year, we would appreciate it if you would wait until we post an appropriate project. But feel free to let us know ahead of time the articles you have available. We will maintain a list of these items and contact you when we need them.

Can I make a monetary donation to the organization at any time I wish ?

• While we greatly appreciate the generosity of people, we desire that your donations be made to a particular project as found in the section: Current Projects. Once all the projects are completed, we ask that you wait until a new project is created and posted.
